The Sales Support Supervisor is a key contributor responsible for leading a team of sales coordinators, providing high-level Sales Support to the domestic sales team, and simultaneously offering dedicated support to an assigned Account Manager and their accounts. This role collaborates closely with the Sales Support Manager to ensure the efficient execution of the sales process and maintain high-quality standards. The Associate Sales Support Supervisor is tasked with balancing leadership responsibilities for the support team and delivering personalized, timely assistance to their designated Account Manager.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with the Sales Support Manager to manage the workflow of incoming support requests, carefully assessing their urgency and complexity, and ensuring tasks are promptly assigned to the appropriate sales coordinators within the team.
- Responsible for supporting an assigned Account Manager while also ensuring team tasks are on track to meet deadlines
- Act as the point of escalation for concerns regarding task completion or performance issues within the support team, actively working to resolve issues, and ensuring tasks are on track to meet deadlines.
- Redistribute tasks as necessary to accommodate for request overflow, vacation/sick time scheduling, cross-functional support, and other contingencies to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Quality Control of projects delivered by the support team
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Support Manager to ensure strict adherence to all established Sales Support processes and procedures.
- Process samples and legal requests as needed
- Assist with onboarding and training of support team
- Balance leadership responsibilities for the support team while delivering personalized, timely assistance to the designated Account Manager, making certain all account needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Approval of time off/editing of timesheets
- Training of new hires
- Acts as direct supervisor to a select Sales Coordinators, under the guidance of the Sales Support Manager for that team
What we look for:
- 2+ years sales process experience required
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Support setting required
- Experience directly managing individuals or in a team lead setting
- Minimum 3 years Microsoft Office/G suite experience
- Well-organized and responsible with aptitude in problem-solving
- Ability to coach & manage team members
- Expert time management

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Cross functional team communication
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office & G-Suite
- Ability to multi-task, adapt, learn quickly, and increase sales on assigned accounts
