Specific Job Functions:
- Responsible for the monitoring of all wagering point spreads / money lines associated with all transactions.
- Distribute all associated sports and racing informational materials (odds sheets, parlay cards, daily racing forms, pens, pencils, etc.) to the guests and/or designated areas.
- Originate all regulatory paper work related to Regulation 6-A and Title 31 as well as Multiple Transaction Log (MTL), Exceptions Reports, Racing Form Collections, etc. and associated documentation used in the daily operation of a Race and Sports Book.
- Responsible for confirming the accountability of monies/chips submitted by cashiers upon the closing of tellers’ cash drawers.
- Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Title 31 and Regulation 6A preferred.
- General knowledge of professional sports leagues, collegiate sports conferences and those teams associated with each is helpful.
- Must have or be able to obtain Gaming Registration.
- High school diploma required.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Must have professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proficiency with a PC and a 10-key adding machine is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of Race and Sports supervisory experience preferred.
- Facilitation of line movement during your one-year experience is preferred.
- Must be able to walk, kneel, sit, stand, reach, carry and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a casino environment with possible exposure to smoke, dust/dirt, extreme heat and/or cold.
