Job description

Ensure a safe working environment is maintained while managing safety performance
Manage shift workflow in the packaging operations to ensure continued operations as planned with shift supervision.
Supervise the hourly workforce on shift including performance management and capability development, scheduling and effective administration of the collective bargaining agreement (unionized occupational workforce)
Monitor and manage key business and performance measures for the area team
Responsible for TLM (Total Loss Management) leadership within the Area Team
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion

Demonstrated ability to direct, motivate and lead team members in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated ability to deliver timely and effective results while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints
Solid computer skills, particularly in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (both Word and Excel)
Strong supervisory skills
Strong multi-tasking, decision making and problem solving skills in a fast paced environment
Ability to build constructive relationships and work effectively with all levels of the organization
Demonstrated coaching and facilitation skills
Displays integrity and trustworthiness
Demonstrated knowledge and application of safety practices
Displays commitment to quality and continuous improvement
Knowledge of Warehouse , logistics and/or high speed packaging lines is preferred
