Job Description
Supervisor, Production (Colorado Springs, CO)
Lead a fiber catheter team within the Production Department. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of production teammates and driving to achieve hourly, daily and weekly output targets used in manufacturing Philps' consumable medical devices. You will also ensure compliance with quality systems and standard operating procedures. You will drive continuous improvement efforts to streamline the manufacturing workflow.
Your Role:
- Use lean manufacturing approaches to solve bottleneck operations and allow for the free flow of WIP through the production line.
- Development of workstation optimization and continuous improvement to increase efficiency of production processes.
- Ensure nonconforming material is processed in accordance with approved standard operating procedures and work instruction.
- Work with other departments (i.e. Materials, Engineering, Quality, R&D) as needed to accomplish Production goals and meet customer needs.
- Utilize tools such as Staffing and Training matrices to ensure maximum efficiency and enable teammate growth and job rotation.
- Conduct training of quality Line Leads.
- Ensure production equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Identify root cause and initiate corrective actions through CAPA.
- Perform timekeeping and monitor attendance/vacations.
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching for teammate development.
- Perform annual performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Participate in internal and third-party quality audits.

- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline AND 2+ years manufacturing supervisory experience OR 5+ years manufacturing supervisory experience

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $79,201 to $94,160 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
