Strategy – Implements maintenance plans
- Ownership of weekly schedule – provides input and feedback
- Manages Area planner and insure qualtiy job plans are being developed
- Manages multi-craft fully functional teams
Communication – Effective communication to key stakeholders
- Communicates progress, needs, and gaps to partners and stakeholders
- Provides updates on KPI’s
- Escalates issues that can’t be solved with base resources regarding key activities of SQRE
- Shares and facilitates best practices between units and/or sites
High School Diploma
- Associates Degree a plus.
- Machinist / Millright experience a plus
Minimum 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic
Minimum 2 years of experience in a team lead role – external candidates
Knowledge of and experience with continuous improvement practices
- Ability to build partnerships to achieve common goals
- Ability to gather trust and confidence of others through honesty, integrity and authenticity
- Ability to work efficiently, plan and prioritize to meet common goals
