Job Purpose and Impact
The 2nd ShiftMaintenance Supervisor will coordinate the deployment of leading maintenance practices in alignment with production needs. In this role, you will supervise a team which executes a variety of medium complex activities to maintain capacity utilization and quality standards for reliable operations at the Dayton facility.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage equipment strategies for assets involved with containing, controlling or safeguarding complex production processes
- Implement methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards
- Collaborate with external contractor partners to support the integration and maintenance of equipment within the facility
- Partner with regional and global leadership to support area-leading practices and procedures
- Develop operational related budgets to track the facility maintenance progress against estimates
- Responsible for personnel decisions relating to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions for your direct reports
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Right to work in the United States that is not based solely on the possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third party employer
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of related work experience
- Computer literacy including experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
- One year of experience utilizing SAP software
- One year of supervisory experience
- Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems and components
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of related tools, processes controls, and area technology systems
- Experience coordinating third party resources to deliver business results
