Assists Manager with the day to day operations. Directs the work of employees to ensure high quality standards of operation and compliance with Aramark, client, government and accrediting agency standards and regulations.
- Assists manager.
- May inventory stock in storage area(s) daily and weekly. Maintain adequate stock levels of items; determine re-order points and submit order to Purchaser and Retail Manager.
- Performs daily tasks in the department.
- Checks equipment and orders repairs and maintenance as needed. Conducts monthly sanitation and safety Inspection Report Supervises sanitation and special cleaning projects.
- Implements and evaluates prepared items, food tasting, portion control, temperature logs and presentation to ensure quality standards are maintained and initiates action to correct any problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail food service setting (5+ years of experience preferred).
- Must be able to communicate effectively; both in writing and verbally.
