Supermarket Refrigeration Service Tech & Service Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Supermarket Refrigeration Service Manager to oversee our Service Dept. The Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, as well as managing the Service Dept.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair mechanical systems, including HVAC, HVACR, refrigeration systems
- Design and implement preventive maintenance programs for all Supermarket equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for equipment repairs and maintenance services
- Develop and implement efficiency initiatives to reduce operational costs
- Train and supervise service staff

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Supermarket Service Manager or similar role
- Strong mechanical skills with expertise in HVAC, refrigeration systems, welding, plumbing and controls
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with vendors, staff, management and customers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
