POSITION TITLE:Wet Utilities- Superintendent
PAY STATUS: Non-exempt

PAY RANGE: $140,000- $180,000
Contractor specializing in heavy civil construction projects, with a focus on water treatment plants and Wet Utilities is currently in search of a Construction Superintendent.
Position Overview:The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction activities related to water treatment plants and Wet Utilities. The right candidate will bring a wealth of experience in heavy civil construction, demonstrating strong leadership, project management skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Significant Duties:
Project Management:
Lead and manage the overall construction process, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans.
Leadership:
Provide strong leadership to the construction team, including subcontractors and vendors, to ensure project objectives are met.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork on the construction site.
Quality Control:
Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure construction work meets industry standards and project specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety and quality standards.
Communication:
Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including owners, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
Problem Solving:
Identify and address construction issues promptly, implementing solutions to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
Collaborate with the project team to resolve any challenges that may arise during construction.
Resource Management:
Manage resources efficiently, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize project performance.
Monitor and control project costs, making adjustments as necessary.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
10+/- years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on water treatment plants and Wet Utilities.
Proven track record of successfully managing and completing construction projects on time and within budget.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and permitting processes.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
