Sun Valley Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for revenue success across multiple resort product lines, including but not limited to the ability to analyze trends and drive growth in the season pass, lift tickets, lodging, ski school, golf, and other ancillary revenue streams.  

Duties & Responsibilities:   

• Advertising: Oversee execution of traditional and non-traditional advertising programs for resort product lines, focusing on Season Passes, Lift Tickets, Lodging, Golf, and Destination Campaigns. 
• Digital Strategy and Optimization: Oversee the build and execution of data-driven digital marketing strategies, focusing on A/B testing, optimization, and revenue growth.  
• Financial Analysis & Business Acumen: Own financial performance and ROI for all marketing initiatives. Manage digital media budget for the Sun Valley marketing team. Includes monthly performance reporting across all Marketing team channels and efforts.  
• Product Marketing: This position is responsible for analyzing trends and driving growth in the product line mentioned above. It also develops and manages the execution of annual marketing plans for each business product line.  
• Team Leadership & Development: Must demonstrate high emotional intelligence, openness to change, and the willingness to collaborate to bring forward ideal solutions. 
• Internal & External Partnerships: Lead communication efforts between marketing and resort stakeholders, focusing on shared interests and driving results. Guide and develop partnerships with vendors and advertising agencies to drive the marketing goals of Sun Valley.  
• Other duties may be assigned. 

Qualifications:  

• Four-year college degree, Marketing or Business emphasis preferred 
• 5+ years of marketing experience, strong experience with digital marketing performance and reporting 
• 2+ years in a management role 
• Ski Industry Experience preferred but not required 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 
• Track record of developing data-driven campaigns with a focus on driving results 
• Deep understanding of marketing databases/campaign management tools (Google Analytics, etc.) 
• Excellent project management skills 
• Night, weekend, and holiday work will occasionally be required
