This position supports the Summer School administrators in day-to-day activities for students in grades 6-8. Responsible for assisting administrators and staff in ensuring a safe and positive learning environment for students involved in the Summer School program.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Office management experience
- Power School experience preferred
- Positive public relations skills
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret and enforce district policies and administrative regulations, including the skillful handling of daily disciplinary and attendance problems, guaranteeing due process to students.
- Assist with the organization and administration of the scheduling of classes.
- Supervise and evaluate Summer School personnel.
- Supervise daily use of the school facilities.
- Keep principals informed of events, activities, and other routine matters related to the principal's area of accountability.
- Oversee campus safety including security, crisis planning, and emergency procedures.
- Track student learning growth via pre and post-assessments.
- Deal with students, parents, staff, and others in a positive, encouraging manner.
- Know and follow district policy and chain of command.
- Act ethically and confidently in all aspects of employment.
- Any other duties as assigned.
