The girls volleyball camp runs July 24-July 28. This camp meets 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Visit here to learn more about our summer athletics camps.

The stipend for this position is $520. This camp will only run if enough students register. Enrollment will remain open until June 1. If the number of students enrolled is too small on June 1, the activity will not run, and, therefore, the stipend will not be paid. Lunch is included.

Responsibilities
- Work with head coach to create an engaging and organized daily camp schedule for a group of diverse students
- Assist head coach with check-in and check-out procedures
- Teach volleyball fundamentals while creating a fun, supportive, and collaborative camp environment
- Supervise all camp activities
- Supervise and delegate tasks to the assigned camp counselors
Requirements and Qualifications
- Demonstrated cultural awareness, including knowledge of themselves and the cultural lenses they bring to interactions. The candidate will understand different perspectives; interact respectfully with cultures other than their own; and cultivate meaningful relationships with people that have different cultural frameworks.
- Prior experience working with a diverse student population and demonstrated equity and inclusion mindset. Candidates should be aware of their own identity and biases; candidate actively works to create an inclusive environment.
- A positive and collaborative attitude
- A high school degree
- Experience playing volleyball at the high school or college level
- First Aid and CPR certification obtained before July 10.
- Candidates must satisfactorily complete three criminal background checks.
- Candidates must provide proof of vaccination and one booster to Human Resources. Candidates requesting a medical and/or religious exemption should reach out to Human Resources.
