We're seeking friendly, energetic, motivated people from all backgrounds to plan and lead summer camps.
The position is responsible for planning, implementing, and conducting play-based, recreational preschool classes for children ages 3-6, with a focus on creative indoor and outdoor learning activities. Required staff training begins June 10 - 13, and summer camp programs run Jun 17 - August 16.
We have two different positions available:
Summer Camp Teacher: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Summer in the Park Teacher: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 1:30pm
*Friday opportunities and hours may vary depending on program registrations*

Interviews will take place during the following times:
Monday, April 1st and Tuesday, April 2nd from 300pm to 500pm
Wednesday April 3rd from 500pm to 700pm
Saturday, April 6th in the morning
Essential Position Functions
In this job you will:

• Develop, plan, implement quality play-based program curriculum for preschool aged children

• Focus on creative indoor and outdoor play-based learning activities
• Provide a safe, wholesome, caring and comfortable environment for child participants
• Communicate with parents/caregivers and supervisors
• Adapt and independently problem-solve unanticipated situations
• Track and report program related records

• Provide work direction to other preschool team members
• Request supplies and materials as needed
• Administer basic first aid as needed - training provided!
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
What is needed to apply for this job?

• A Bachelor's degree or near completion of degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Two (2) years of experience in teaching or assisting a teacher or equivalent work in a similar position
• Valid Driver's License
