Paid Internships at Production Resource Group are educational work experiences for individuals who wish to explore a career with PRG and/or develop hands-on knowledge and skill in the business of entertainment technology. PRG provides structured yet flexible programs where interns rotate through the various functions of a particular discipline, giving them a comprehensive overview of the different aspects of the field.
The internship program is 12 weeks. The Summer Program runs approximately *Mid to late May- Beg/Mid-August (*dates may vary)
Each Marketing Intern will:
- Get introduction to PRGs brand marketing & content.
- Familiarized with PRGs current marketing applications for digital content
- Overview of how to update messages on our intranet via SharePoint.
- Overview of creation of marketing emails using Pardot
- PRG’s content landscape and best practices on each marketing medium
- High level overview of how PRG uses Google Analytics and Brightedge for SEO and website data analysis.
Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Introduce intern to Brandwatch platform – discuss functionality and analytic capabilities.
- Intern will learn how to Schedule and track PRG’s social calendar.
- Analyze competitive social landscape.
- Add tags to current and legacy posts and learn how we use their analysis to guide content creation.
- Analyze brand mentions, comments, and messages.
- Respond effectively to engagements on our social platforms – messages, feedback, and comments.
- Boost and target social posts.
Content Creation & Optimization
- Discuss PRG’s target audiences and how we use different mediums for content creation. :
- Intern will learn how to Storyboard a video case study.
- Conduct research on industry trends.
- Discuss strategic placement of content in various mediums and discuss emerging trends.
- Work with intern to plan and create content for Reels and TikTok and help PRG reach next gen talent by utilizing the popular short form video medium.
Event Support
- Intern will assist with Planning and execution.
- Invite creation with clear CTA to curate and manage attendee list.
- Promotion including signage and any needed merch.
- On-site support -- set-up and check-in.
- Defining event success metrics to identify areas of improvement for future events.
We are looking for applicants who are/have:
- Familiar with adobe suite, office suite, familiarity with social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X) and content creation for those platforms
- May perform other incidental tasks, as needed.
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the country where the internship is located.
- For internships in the US, students must pass a drug test prior to employment.
We are looking for applicants who match ANY of the following:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or higher-level degree program in marketing
- Technology specializing in any of our disciplines or a complementary field
- Have received an appropriate degree within the past two years
Physical demands
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
The pay for this position is $17 hr. Actual salary to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant combined with location and alignment with market data.
