Kontoor Brands' Summer Intern Program is packed with projects, networking socials, cross-functional learning, and the chance to connect with industry trailblazers like our Executive Leadership Team. Previous interns have taken on projects as subject matter experts and social architects to engineer solutions through social media, Go-To-Market strategies, and denim designs. Participants can also take advantage of opportunities to explore interests in Social Issues, Sustainability, Career Fairs, Community Outreach and more. Our 10-week, full-time paid internship runs from June 3rd to August 8th. Start your journey with us and take your career to the next level!

Project Role: Ecommerce Buying
You will engage with the team that assorts product and drives sales in our Digital Commerce channel. As we interface with our consumer directly, you will learn about both the analytical and creative aspects behind how our brands come to life online. You will be immersed in the fundamentals of business reporting and analysis, planning and product set-up, preparing visuals for storytelling of our product, and assessing the changing dynamics of the online competitor marketplace.

- Must be local or willing to relocate to Greensboro, NC
Find Your Fit at Kontoor if you are:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program at a College/University and able to receive a paid internship
- Eligible to work in the US without restrictions
- Have previously demonstrated leadership skills through school, extracurricular activities and/or community involvement
- Exceptional at taking on challenges and using your particular set of skills to create solutions
- A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:
- Research competitor websites to understand best in market segmentation, filters, product imagery, product descriptions, and messaging to influence how we present and price our product online.
- Compile weekly/monthly audits of key competitors' pricing and promotions, category pricing strategies and homepage/email imagery and placements to inform team on competitor strategies.
- Visually organize and compile product decks to help organize and strategize assortment flow and presentation seasonally.
- Assist in maintaining updates of master assortment database to ensure integrity of information for cross-functional teams.
- Support execution of product lifecycle from buy review, to order entry, to production tracking, to launch onsite.
- Learn how to analyze category sales on a weekly and monthly basis to understand how product is performing, what customer reaction is, and where business opportunities lie.
- Organize samples for the merchandising team to easily identify and reference seasons, categories, manage for photo studio shoots, etc.
- Learn online merchandising best practices to understand how to optimize product viewing and sales online.
Skills for Success:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Digital Merchandising, Apparel Studies or related field.
- Completed course work
- Technical Skills (i.e. MS Office, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, etc.)
