JOB SUMMARY
Nabors is seeking Summer Intern for their Data Analyst team. The intern will apply their data analytics and statistical algorithms skills to help drive key business metrics. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collecting, research and interpret data
- Analyzing results
- Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business
- Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
- Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
- Defining new data collection and analysis processes
- Demonstrate illustrations and visualizations of data communicating results of business impact
- Document completed work so others can understand and implement
- Able to analyze data and understand the relationships and correlations
- Follows procedures and safety guidelines
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing final year of university studies towards bachelor’s degree or seeking Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and/or Economics, or related coursework
- Basic understanding of the following from previous work/classes/research and/or relevant pervious jobs/internships:
o analyze large datasets using Python or other scripting languages
o write comprehensive reports
- Verbal and written communication skills
- An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in groups/teams
- An appreciation of commitment to safety leadership.
- Solid comprehensive problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well independently and in a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
- The primary location for this position is an office environment.
- Able to lift to 20 lbs.
- Rig yard trips may be expected from time to time.
- 20% travel to rig yards and field.
