TITLE: Summer Grounds Helper
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Head of Grounds
DURATION: Seasonal/Summer, 30+ hours per week
COMPENSATION: Minimum Wage plus $.10 and $.10 each consecutive year of working in the same position
CERTIFICATION: None- Must be 18 years or older
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
At Pittsford Schools, we pride ourselves on maintaining a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our students, staff, and families. As we prepare for the busy summer season, we are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as a Summer Grounds Helper.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
As a Summer Grounds Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our grounds. Working under the supervision of our groundskeeping team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Grounds Maintenance with Landscaping Support
Trash Removal
Equipment Operation
Assisting with Special Projects
Safety Compliance
Communication
Job Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and operating equipment for extended periods, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
