Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your role will involve engaging in age-appropriate activities, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the well-being of each child. Duties: - Provide attentive care and supervision to children in our facility - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development - Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and play - Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress - Ensure the health and safety of all children by following proper protocols and procedures - Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and cleaning up after meals - Change diapers, assist with potty training, and ensure proper hygiene practices - Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional well-being - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area Qualifications: - Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices - Strong classroom management skills to ensure a structured learning environment - Familiarity with first aid procedures for children's safety - Ability to provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques - Knowledge of early childhood education techniques is preferred - Experience working with students who have special education needs is a plus - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues - Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain calm under pressure Note: All positions at our facility are paid positions.
