Summer Camp Nurses

We are looking for Nurses to enjoy the summer in the beautiful mountains of Ojai, California. Camp Ramah is a Jewish overnight camp that ramps up on June 12th and runs through August 12th. We have amazing campers and staff that keep us very busy. We are now staffing our clinic to keep our community healthy throughout the summer.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care with our campers / staff, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures
- Monitor and record campers / staff vital signs and medical history
- Assist with camper / staff examinations and assessments
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Requirements:

- Valid nursing license in the state of [California]
- Provide your own transportation to and from Camp Ramah

- Proven experience as a Nurse, preferably in a medical office or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in performing various medical procedures
- Experience administering medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards our campers and staff members

Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing, Temporary

Salary: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
