Position Summary:
Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring an Analytical Chemistry Intern. This role works under general supervision, performs work on assigned projects or tasks that may vary and be somewhat challenging with limited responsibility. Follows established guidelines and work plans and may also assist scientists on varied projects.
The Role

• Execute laboratory work plans/schedules developed with input from a supervisor or senior team member. Techniques may vary depending on project or work plan assigned
• Maintain accurate and laboratory documentation in accordance with regulatory guidance and Site SOPs
• Under direction, may draft technical documents such as methods
• Assists in execution of efficiency improvement projects with guidance
• Other duties as assigned

The Candidate

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. Must be an undergraduate/graduate student in Cell Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field of study
• Previous laboratory experience preferred
• Well organized and ability to multitask as well as efficient time management
• Able to work full time (40 hours/week) for a 10-12-week period over the summer
