Job Summary
Primarily responsible for the daily cleaning suites to Carillon Miami Wellness Resort standard of cleanliness.
Essential Job Functions
- Performs daily cleaning of assigned rooms.
- Changing of bed lined while ensuring linen is fresh and stain free.
- Replacing towels according to Carillon Miami Wellness Resort water conservation policy and ensuring new towels are fresh and stain free.
- Cleaning bathroom using the appropriate chemicals in a safe manner.
- Vacuuming all aspects of the room to include corners, edges, and furniture.
- Mopping floors to include the bathrooms and kitchens.
- Dusting high and low areas of the room.
- Cleaning kitchen areas, which include appliances and maintaining cleanliness of dishware inventory (including plates, silver wares, glasses, cups, etc.)
- Replenishing up-to-date magazines and other amenities then displaying them in the proper manner.
- Stocking and cleaning the Housekeeper cart and storeroom.
- Ensure all guest’s requests are met.
- Prioritizes workload according to guest request, arrivals, and departures.
- Must be able to clean guest rooms according to Carillon Miami standards.
- General cleaning duties as outlined on the training checklist.
- Removing and changing all linen. The mattress and duvet must be checked for stains and/or damage. If there is stains and/or damage, the items must be replaced.
- Check of and report all Engineering items to a Room Supervisor.
- Check the shower glass door.
- Scrub and remove soap scum build up from the shower.
- Inspect balcony furniture and report damage or work to Room Supervisor.
- Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
- Suite Attendants are required to attend a chemical safety class with loss prevention department within the first six-months of employment.
- Suite attendant are to inform their supervisors/managers when in need of supplies and/or equipment to perform their job.
- Suite attendant will greet and smile and greet at guests and staff as they cross the Housekeeper’s path.
- Suite attendant must be courteous, kind, and friendly to all guests and staff that they encounter.
- Suite attendant must act in a professional manner at all times while at work.
- Must be able to communicate in Basic English with the guest and managers.
- Performs other job-related duties as needed.
