Position: Full Time and/ or Part Time Suicide/ Crisis Hotline Worker

Do you want to work for a consumer-driven, purposeful leader in Crisis Intervention and Community Resources who provides an excellent opportunity for professional development? We are seeking highly motivated, dedicated, compassionate individuals to work as a Suicide/ Crisis Hotline staff member. The chosen candidate will be trained and supervised on an ongoing basis to ensure their success.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Social Services degree preferred

Salary range: $14.00-$16.00 per hour.

Help Network of Northeast Ohio began in 1971 as a drug info line for the City of Youngstown. The agency has grown over the years to become 24 hours a day 7 days a week Crisis Intervention/Suicide Prevention and Information Referral Agency answering over 16,000 calls a month for 5 counties. Help Network also provides fifteen other face to face programs including Guardianship, Representative Payee, Victims of Crime Assistance, Education and Prevention surrounding mental illness and addiction, and Housing Assistance to name a few. Help Network is certified by The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Board, American Association of Suicidology (AAS), Association of Information and Referral Services (AIRS) and Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation facilities (CARF).
