Divine Light Treatment, LLC is an Intensive Outpatient Program. This is a comprehensive Substance Abuse treatment facility located in Baltimore, MD. The company offers a holistic setting that promotes an atmosphere conducive to meeting the needs of our diverse client population throughout their recovery process. We are seeking passionate, enthusiastic and professional Substance Abuse Counselors to join our team! We are offering a $1,000.00 Signing Bonus* and a $1,000.00 Tuition reimbursement after the pre-requisite probationary period. ** (Other conditions apply)
We are seeking to hire several licensed or certified counselors. Trainees will also be considered for job placement. We would love individuals to join our team who are eager to assist our clients through their recovery process. Applicants must possess at the minimum one of the following licenses or certifications issued by the State of Maryland: ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, LCADC, LGPC, LCPC, LGSW and LCSW
You will be responsible for implementing effective treatment plans to clients in an individual or group settings.
. Meet with new clients for assessment.
· Plan a course of treatment.
· Regularly meet with clients for individual and group therapy sessions
· Update their treatment as necessary
· Individual and group counseling
· Completing progress notes at the end of each session
· Reviewing treatment plans for clients served, monthly or bi-weekly as required by COMAR
· Attend all staff meeting/trainings
· Continuing training of certifications
· Follow all HIPPA Laws
· Stay informed and in touch with community resources and support groups
· Work with other health professionals to create an individual treatment plan
· Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programs
· Keep detailed notes on patient interaction
· Maintain strict confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Counsel and advise individuals or groups with Substance Abuse problems
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans
- Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients
- Prepare progress reports and letters for relevant parties
- Educate families and groups on Substance Abuse treatments and prevention programs
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare or counseling professionals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related fields
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
