Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference in people's lives? We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Abuse Coachto join as a member of the treatment team to provide group and family therapies. Coaches will treat a selected caseload of female or male clients suffering from behavioral health and addiction-related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provides group therapy as well as Peer Recovery sessions on a weekly basis.
- Complete timely and complete medical record documentation
- Work with clients’ families to create dedicated support networks and to promote healthy relationships while in treatment.
- Participate in peer-review process while implementing relapse prevention, skill development, and evidence-based practices within group therapy.
- Participate in weekly supervision with Clinical Manager
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance in all communication regarding clients.
- Additional duties as directed.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in a Behavioral Health discipline or related field preferred.
- Certifications Required, CADAC II, CADAC IV, CADAC V, & or Peer Recovery
- At least two years prior experience in a behavioral healthcare setting, with residential treatment experience preferred.
- Group facilitation experience preferred.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively handle challenging situations.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills, computer literacy and ability to use an EMR Understanding of Substance Use Disorders and Dual Diagnosis
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation: $18-$21/ hour
