Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship Required.

This position is responsible for analysis, research, and launch support for OEM vehicle assembly plants.
The duties of this position entail gathering technical engineering information and developing training material for an OEM manufacturing facility. Candidates for this position must have a technical background in automotive electronics, be proficient in automotive electrical architecture, wiring systems, and associated systems and sub systems. This individual must be highly motivated, personable and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Specific roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Function as the launch team representative at preproduction build events and gather information to be used during the development of product launches
Function as a member of the vehicle development team for build events providing feedback with regard to control module placement, wiring harness placement, connector location, wiring harness functionality, vehicle electrical system analysis and troubleshooting, etc.
Knowledge of efficient methods of diagnosing and correcting vehicle electrical systems and sub-system issues
Analyze vehicle electrical systems and sub-systems to accurately identify new-to-plant features
Act as the liaison between engineering and the End of Line plant training group by gathering information to develop training materials such as wiring harness location, connector location, connector end views and vehicle electrical component locations
Communicate and share lessons-learned gathered in support of vehicle launches with manufacturing engineering and the End of Line plant training group
Analyze and identify future training product needs for each of the OEM vehicle launches.
Support and participate in launch meetings, and other launch-related activities and provide feedback to internal and external customers
Research and compile technical information to be included in the course materials, such as, but not limited to IVED Schematics, Work in Process Service Information, and Engineering documents
Required Skills:
Associates Degree in Automotive Technology, engineering, or other related discipline
Minimum of 5 years related automotive industry experience
Ability to read and interpret a digital multi meter (DMM), OEM Scan Tool, and other automotive related diagnostic test equipment
Working knowledge of AR/VR technologies
Ability to work with both internal and external customers
Ability to interpret early engineering level electrical schematic diagrams and documents
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Valid Drivers License
Understand module programming equipment and tools
Ability to take direction from multiple engineering resources
Ability to Interface with engineering and launch teams with minimal supervision
US Citizenship with a valid US passport
Ability to travel upwards of 35% annually (Canada, U.S., and Mexico)
Desired Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Automotive Technology, engineering or other related discipline preferred
Background in technical training development
Automotive manufacturing experience
Demonstrated knowledge of intricate automotive systems from an advanced diagnostics perspective including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair
Bilingual in Spanish
