In the Precision Guided Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art sensors and guidance kits that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions. Our team is currently looking for a Material Program Manager (MPM) to support the PGSS Market Expansion Organization and Key Capture Programs. The Materials Program Manager (MPM) is a self-starter with strong leadership and demonstrated project management skills. This highly visible role will effectively communicate with all levels of management internally, with suppliers, and with the customer. 
This MPM role will be focused on driving effective supply chain strategies and coordinating supply chain activities to support key proposals and complex development program execution. The MPM will serve as a leader for program supply chain activities in a matrix organization. The position requires an individual who will be able to exert influence and have a positive impact on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the product line and key capture programs, with no direct reports.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Development, coordination and execution of all program material strategies and supply chain objectives.
  • Collaboratively develop and execute material program plans together with the Subcontract Administrator and Subcontracts Program Manager.
  • Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.
  • Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs on a daily basis.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations to collaboratively drive strategy and mitigate material issues.
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively acts to address program and functional issues.
  • Strategically support proposals as the Supply Chain Lead, including Basis of Estimates.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities including tools and processes for the program and business area.
  • Be the primary Supply Chain point of contact for the program.
  • Is the Lead for the Materials Integrated Program Team driving accountability and root cause corrective action.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
