Stylist/Barber

Hairborn Salon & Barber Shop is now accepting applications for experienced barbers, stylists and future professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide barbering and/or hairstyling services to clients, including haircuts, shaves, trims, and styling
• Stay up-to-date with current hair trends and techniques
• Offer advice and recommendations to clients on hair care and styling products
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction
• Upsell additional services and products to clients
• Maintain a clean and organized work station
• Follow proper sanitization protocols for tools and equipment

Required skills:

• Outgoing, personable, and positive attitude non-negotiable
• Pro-client experience
• Barber & Cosmetologist applicants must show proof of licensure.
• Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist
• Strong knowledge of haircutting techniques, styles, and trends
• Proficiency in using barbering tools such as clippers, shears, razors, etc.
• Familiarity with color theory and hair coloring techniques
• Hair extension experience is a plus
• Experience in store management or front desk operations is a plus
• Knowledge of makeup application is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Barber & Cosmetologist applicants must show proof of licensure. Assistant applications must show proof of enrollment in cosmetology school.

Pay: $20.00 - $150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
