Job DescriptionThe campus Math Center is a space for collaborative work between math students and tutors. The Math CenterStudent Tutor will provide tutoring support to students needing assistance in math.
At a minimum, tutors must have completed, or be currently enrolled in, Pre-AP Algebra II. ResponsibilitiesWork with students to provide support in strengthening math concepts and skills.Attend a tutor training before or after school.Become familiar with the mission and purpose of the Math Center.Keep scheduled tutoring commitments.Communicate with the campus Math Center Facilitator regarding Math Center concerns.RequirementsMath teacher recommendation (please include a Math teacher in the reference section) Questions for the application:Please describe why you are interested in being a Math CenterStudent Tutor.What qualities do you feel will make you a good math tutor?
