Student Summer Externship - Community Support Services

KHS reasonably expects to pay starting compensation for the part time position of Student Summer Externship - Community Support Services $19.00 hourly.

Extern Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and reliable extern to become a part of our expanding program. In this role, you will need to acquaint yourself with the resources available in the community for those experiencing homelessness and individuals with behavioral health challenges. Your responsibilities will include engaging with members and expand your knowledge regarding social determinants of health. In addition to office duties, the extern will have the opportunity to meet managers and executives.

Extern Duties and Responsibilities

• Inventory organization, updates, and tracking
• Updating Tracking spreadsheets
• Print, Scan, and filing documents.
• Data entry
• Basic clerical duties, including answering phones and taking referrals

Extern requirements and qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in high school, college, or university.
• Must be minimum 16 years of age.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Be available for the entire summer break, flexible hours, Monday - Friday (with the exception of planned vacation or needed days off to be discussed with department).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
