- Work with the producer to develop a marketing plan to launch and promote the podcast
- Create audiograms and other promotional materials to be shared online
- Engage online community to improve site visits
- Draft and send press releases and follow-up emails to media outlets and university public relations contacts to promote individual episodes
- Assist with transcript clean-up
- Other duties as needed
- Position begins at the start of the Spring 2024 semester with the possibility of continuing through the summer and the Fall 2024 semester
- Understanding of promotional strategies to target key audiences across Social Media platforms
- Expertise with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Snapchat, and LinkedIn
- Experience in creating engaging posts for Social Media
- Proficient in editing video/audio content and creating graphics for Social Media posts
- Interest in public relations, marketing, and/or Social Media content creation
- Extremely well-organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage your time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, all while maintaining high-quality work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Canva and Microsoft Office 365
