Job Summary

Outdoor CenterStudent Assistants will provide outdoor team-focused programming to members of the GCSU community and the local community on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities

Planning Meetings - 10%
Attend planning meetings to create client-specific outdoor programs.
Program Facilitation - 80%
Implement group development and/or challenge course programs for a variety of clients.
Program Logistics - 10%
Attend staff debriefs and complete end of program paperwork.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High School diploma
Other Required Qualifications
Group development and/or challenge course training.
Required Experience
Enrolled at GCSU

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Customer service focused, good time management, and willing to work outdoors.
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Current First Aid, CPR/AED Certification (not required to apply).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

ABILITIES
Must be able to complete and maintain First Aid, CPR/AED Certification.
SKILLS
Facilitation, challenge course management
