Location Armstrong Campus - Savannah, GA Department Information Armstrong - Galley Job Summary The Student Assistant will support the Galley as a Food Service Associate on the Savannah Campus beginning Spring 2024.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period. Responsibilities Prepares fresh food items Stocks inventory Provides customer service functions such as greeting customers and operating cash registers to complete cash and credit transactions Keeps kitchen and dining room areas clean and neat Works with various kitchen equipment Empties trash cans Fills condiment dispensers Vacuums as needed Shift Specifics Up to 25 hours per week Flexible with schedule of availability 2 positions: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Monday- Friday) 2 positions: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Monday - Friday) 2 positions: 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM (Monday - Friday) Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University. Proposed Salary $10.00 per hour This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
