Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Structural Welders for projects located in Jacksonville, FL . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $24/hour based on experience and skill level plus $100/perdiem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Repair to ships and boats
Commercial work
Set up, troubleshoot and utilize welding machines
Lay out and measure, utilizing both imperial English and metric
Work with system drawings and blueprints
Interpret and understand weld symbols
Work with hand tools
Operate and or assist with overhead cranes
Requirements
Must be willing to work nights
Must be able to pass a drug screening
Minimum of 2+ years of experience with weld certificates from tech school preferred
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to pass a MIL STD 248D Certification test
Must have a working knowledge of of local NAVSEA standard items
