Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Structural Integration Specialist for an immediate start in Portland, Oregon!

PAY: $25 - $30 /hour (Based on Experience)
HOURS: 40+ (9 hour shifts)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: Temp to Perm
JOB DESCRIPTION OF THE STUCTURAL INTEGRATION SPECIALIST:
The Structural Integration Specialist will be responsible for the installation of systems on customer
platforms in end user environments. Travel to various internationally based law enforcement and
military agencies including affiliated locations where the systems are being fabricated and assembled
will be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE AVIONICS INTEGRATION SPECIALIST:
• Structural modifications to facilitate the Installation of surveillance equipment on end user platforms - e.g. fixed
wing aircraft, helicopters, armored vehicles, ships.
• Fabricate piece parts in accordance with approved technical data and drawings at our Portland facility and in
the field.
• Must have the ability to read and understand all drawings, work orders, structural repair manuals, and technical
directives.
• Ensures all paper work, work orders, and records associated with assembly, modifications and repairs are
completed daily.
• Advises the supervisor of any necessary tooling required to properly complete task.
• Assist engineering with technical issues.
• Intermediate level computer skills including basic use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel preferred. CAD/CAM
knowledge a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical subject matter both orally and in writing.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team away from home and family for extended periods of time.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE AVIONICS INTEGRATION SPECIALIST:
• Minimum 5 years' experience
• Strong knowledge in mechanical discipline preferred, EO/IR experience a plus.
• Previous military experience preferred.
• Accredited A&P license required, Inspection Authorization & FCC License preferred.
• Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR Part 23,27, & 43, AC 43.13).
• Knowledge of commercial and military standards and practices.
• Familiarity with the installation and integration of electronic/avionics equipment and structural modifications
to facilitate such work.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations regarding Field Modifications to include Return to Service documentation.
• Ability to analyze work situations and resolve issues with a minimum of supervision.
• Must be able to travel outside the U.S. without restrictions and for prolonged periods (up to 3-6 months).
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 lb
• Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site
