Structural Designer

Overview:
My Client is a a growing structural engineering and project management firm in Montgomery County, PA. They are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Designer to join their team. As a Structural Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing structural plans and drawings for various construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop structural designs
- Create detailed plans, blueprints, and drawings using software such as AutoCAD and Revit

- Co-ordinate with the project team to achieve the committed deliverables and timelines
- Review project specifications and requirements to determine design parameters
- Incorporate sustainable design principles into structural designs
- Collaborate with construction teams to provide support during the construction phase
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural design software and techniques

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Structural Designer or similar role
- Proficient in using design software such as Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles and building codes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Pay: $67,284.70 - $85,000.00 per year
