Position: Part-Time Strength Coach
CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Hours & Availability
Part Time: Total 15-20 hours/ week
- Build up to coaching 15-20 hours a week
Must be available evenings (4:00pm-7:30pm) during the week with flexibility to work occasional Saturdays (7:30am-10:00am)
Compensation
Coaching Starting Pay: $25-30/hour (based on experience)

We work with the ‘general population’ with a wide range of goals, abilities and learning styles. Our members are consistent, hard-working and looking to integrate fitness into their lives in a meaningful way.
Who We Are Looking For:
- have at least 1 year of varied coaching experience
- Must be able to coach in a semi-private setting, up to 6 people per session all with individualized programs AND group training setting, up to 9 individuals, following a group-based program.
- Wants to improve their skills as a coach with people that are willing and eager to learn.
- Has a collaborative mindset that can help improve the overall experience for our members.
Coaching Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coach pre-designed individualized programs to members of all fitness levels. Teach the set up, demonstrate the movement and make corrections if needed. Make modifications or adjustments when necessary.
- Effectively manage the flow of the training floor and appropriately divide coaching amongst all members.
- Instruct, motivate, and assist members in a safe, legal, moral, ethical manner to achieve their goals.
- Communicate clearly within the team in relation to members and programs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Functional fitness training: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Waltham, MA 02453: Relocate before starting work (Required)
