Position: Part-Time Strength Coach/Fitness Coach
CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Hours & Availability
Part Time: Total 10-15 hours/ week
- Up to 10-15 hours of coaching
Must be available mornings (6:00am-10:00am) and evenings (4:00pm-7:30pm) during the week with flexibility to work some weekends (Saturdays only, 7:00am-10:00am)
Compensation
Coaching Starting Pay: $25-30/hour (based on experience)

We try to challenge our members both mentally and physically, while continuing to build the confidence and courage to tackle challenges outside of the gym. We strongly believe that what we do inside our facility should enhance their lives outside of our facility. Our members are consistent, hard-working and always looking to better themselves.
Who We Are Looking For:
- have at least 1-2 years of varied coaching experience
- Must be able to manage and coach in a semi-private setting, up to 6 people per session all with individualized programs AND group training setting, up to 9 individuals, following a group-based program.
- Wants to improve their skills as a coach with people that are willing and eager to learn.
- Has a collaborative mindset that can help improve the overall experience for our members.
- Must have a current training certification and CPR/AED certification.
Coaching Responsibilities and Duties:
- Coach pre-designed individualized programs to members of all fitness levels. Teach the set up, demonstrate the movement and make corrections if needed. Make modifications or adjustments when necessary.
- Effectively manage the flow of the training floor and appropriately divide coaching amongst all members.
- Instruct, motivate, and assist members in a safe, legal, moral, ethical manner to achieve their goals.
- Communicate clearly within the team in relation to members and programs.
Outside of Coaching Responsibilities:
- Lead by example- be dedicated to your own health and fitness and show a desire for continuing your education in regards to training and coaching techniques.
- Assist with member outreach and accountability.
- Helping keep the gym organized and clean
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Personal training: 2 years (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Waltham, MA 02453: Relocate before starting work (Required)
