Description:
Serves as a relationship manager for Microsoft across multiple functional areas (product marketing) and has access to contacts with best practice functional and industry expertise outside the vendor and outside Microsoft with ability to prepare a short- and long-term strategic roadmap for a functional area, driven by data and customer input . Viewed as a functional expert with full awareness of business solutions and able to support senior (GM/VP) marketing leaders. Fully fluent in multi-model and cross disciplinary methodologies to drive product and marketing decision making.

Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm -

• Project Management:
  • Managing/leading discrete projects at various stages of completion
  • partnering across the team members on related data needs
• Analysis and strategy
  • Interpreting primary and secondary data to inform product decisions.
  • Apply product strategy principles to support PMM teams.
• Communications/pitch
  • Debriefing on projects and influencing decision making
  • Pitching and persuading marketing and engineering partners
• Relationship management
  • Engage with VP/GM level Windows engineering and marketing partners
  • Engage with Research + Insight team members and leadership
  • Engage with UXR partners
• Analytical experience - quantitative analysis and advanced analytics | 12+
• Strong understanding of products and product development and strategy | 12+
• Executive level communication experience | 12+
