The Strategy Group:
Wonderful Strategy Group (WSG) partners directly with executive leaders to solve their most pressing strategic and operational issues to deliver high-impact results for the company and the businesses in its portfolio. Driving business growth by leading direction-setting strategy and acquisition initiatives, working side-by-side with brand leaders, making recommendations on operational and technological improvements, and supporting the long-term health of the organization.
Strategy Analysts work alongside smart, savvy, and high-performing Managers and Directors (alums from top-tier professional services firms and leading consumer goods brands) and provide on-the-ground support for our clients’ most pressing strategic, technological, organizational, and operational challenges to deliver high-impact results for the company. Joining a supportive and tight-knit team, you'll collaborate on challenging initiatives with the opportunity to own, lead, and drive lasting business improvements. You will expand your knowledge by solving complex business problems, learning to create strategies for change, and winning buy-in from stakeholders to successfully impact the company while receiving regular training and engaged mentorship from Managers and Directors This is an opportunity to add value by working on high-impact projects, build operations skills, develop lasting relationships with industry leaders, and work with high-performing and highly dedicated peers in a strong team environment.
We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
Job Description
- Work with our operating business units (like FIJI Water, JUSTIN Wine, POM Wonderful and Wonderful Citrus) and shared services to improve performance both through new growth initiatives and efficiency/cost reduction actions. These include a broad set of objectives including analyzing market conditions, improving operational efficiencies, and optimizing processes to support top- and bottom-line growth.
- Conduct analysis and provide insights into our business units to discover opportunities to improve our ways of working
- Explore and vet solutions to the biggest challenges facing our business today
- Work directly with business unit management in our centers of operation
- Work with the Strategy Group to drive critical strategic, operational, and organizational initiatives
Qualifications
- BS/BA or Master’s degree with two to five years related work experience in Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Agriculture, Operations, Finance or a related field
- Demonstrated interest and skills related to one or more of the following:
- Large scale, modern agriculture, and the technology driving change in how we grow food
- Operations management and food production
- Advanced analytics, data management, data visualization, and insight generation
- Pricing, promotions, and product assortment architecture in fast moving consumer goods
- Financial analysis, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, and post-merger integration
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative) with experience in tools like Office Suite, Power BI, SQL, etc.
- Willingness to travel (primarily within California)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Focused, organized, results-oriented individual
- Ability to work effectively with clients and within a team
- Successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, able to achieve high impact in an unstructured environment
Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
