The backbone of our approach in Energy Storage is our close relationships with key suppliers, and our ability to work collaboratively with suppliers to understand the nuances of their product and how they can be valuable for a storage buyer. In this critical position, you will work on maintaining key supplier relationships and ensuring the Anza platform has the latest supplier data enabling buyers to make better decisions

About the Role

Principally, this position will support the Director of Strategic Sourcing in evaluating and qualifying Energy storage vendors. In this critical role, we’re seeking someone who embraces relationship building and enjoys negotiating with multiple parties to optimize the solution for our customers while supporting suppliers in matching their supply and their capabilities with the right customers/opportunities. You must be highly detail oriented and capable of organizing cross-functional stakeholders, both internally and externally, in pursuit of our strategic goals.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Analyzing responses to complex bid requests, pointing out commercial and technical differences, and making recommendations in selecting appropriate suppliers for contract awards.
• Tracking Energy Storage pricing trends and raw materials indices
• Providing market data to support supplier selection, qualification, and on-going performance management.
• Training the sales team and engineering team on new product features from OEM.

While no one individual will possess them all, the successful candidate will bring many of the following experiences, skills, and attributes:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Chemical Engineering or Material Science.
• Have minimum 1-3 years’ work experience
• Ability to speak and write fluent Mandarin and English.
