Job Purpose/Overview
STRATEGIC REVENUE MANAGEMENT AT MARS PETCARE - Royal Canin
The Petcare Segment consists of five Divisions: Pet Nutrition, Royal Canin, Mars Veterinary Health N. America, Mars Veterinary Health International & Diagnostics, Kinship. Under this new organization of Petcare Product and Service brands, we launched our Strategy in 2018 with an objective to "Create a Better World for Pets by extending global leadership in Nutrition, Health and Services powered by Data".

Key Responsibilities
HOW YOU'LL CREATE A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS
In this role, you will be ingrained in the Revenue Management team developing novel solutions in sales and finance to better the life of pets. In this role you may work in one of the following functional areas:
Revenue Management, Pricing, Sales, Finance, Category
As a Strategic Revenue Management Intern, these are some examples of the types of projects you may take on during the summer:
  • Analyze our investment strategy across channels and customers
  • Define the brand premiumization architecture for innovation within the pet category
  • Design the price pack architecture for a rapidly accelerating ecommerce business
  • Develop the go-to-market trade & promotional strategy for upcoming brand launches
  • Lead the optimization of feature and display executions across national and regional customers
  • Determine competitive go-to-market strategies, frameworks, and mitigating opportunities
  • Identify and create whitespace product recommendations

What we're looking for:
  • We are looking for humble and hungry, agile students who have a drive for results, a desire to learn, and who can quickly build relationships.
  • We are looking for students who are passionate and majoring in sales, sales development and the consumer products industry
  • Eligible candidates will intern the summer prior to their final graduation date (typically rising seniors)
  • Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening

Job Specifications/Qualifications
Education & Professional Qualifications
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in areas such as Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, Management and Accounting.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with excel and it's functions.
  • Intellectually curious and driven by a desire to explore and find insights.
  • Energized by problem solving. Eager to explore and find insights in new and complex datasets.
