Strategic Planning Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Planning Analyst with a background in supporting federal programs. As a Strategic Planning Analyst your primary role is to support the development and maintenance of the program strategic Plan. You will conduct environmental scanning, identify trends affecting large-scale assessments, and provide recommendations for strategic adjustments to ensure continued department success.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Strategic Plan Development:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of program Strategic Plan, aligning goals with organizational objectives.
2. Environmental Scanning:
- Conduct comprehensive environmental scanning to identify internal and external factors affecting large-scale assessments.
3. Trend Identification:
- Identify and analyze trends in education, assessment, and related fields that may impact department strategic direction.
4. Recommendation Development:
- Provide informed recommendations for strategic adjustments based on trends and environmental factors.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Master’s degree in Education, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Strategic Planning, analysis, and policy development within the education sector or assessment programs.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent research and environmental scanning capabilities.
- Effective communication skills to convey complex strategic concepts.
- Ability to contribute to the development and execution of organizational strategic plans.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Public Trust clearance at this location.
