Job description

The Strategic Growth and Portfolio Management Analyst (“Analyst”) assists the business leader directly with pipeline management and specific transaction work.  The Analyst will work with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain a list of targeted acquisitions and assist business leader with prioritization. Specific transaction work involves all stages of the acquisition process including initial research, assistance in diligence planning and organization, maintenance of schedules and other daily duties. The Analyst is responsible for all written materials generated throughout the acquisition process and for schedules and communication.

The Role

  • Assist in research and preparation for pipeline development working with business leader and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and distribute documents required for tracking progress across North America
  • Research and assist with preparation of strategic rationale for individual investments, including market research, as needed.
  • Communicate with NA CRB colleagues for information requests. 
  • Organization of all pipeline and transaction documentation
  • Assist with and organize the due diligence process, closing, and post-closing integration activities.
  • Maintenance of current M&A checklists and legal documents
  • Perform special projects, as required.
  • Attend meetings with management, as requested.

Responsibilities

  • 2 or more years of progressive experience working in insurance brokerage and/or related financial services financial functions, mergers and acquisitions experience preferred.
  • Minimum 4-year college degree; undergraduate or graduate degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or equivalent experience.  MBA required
  • Experience in applying financial concepts to practical business problems.
  • Able to organize multiple projects. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Team player
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.  (Estimated travel 20%)

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $150,000 USD – $200,000 USD. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
