Strategic Finance Associate

My client is a $3B, rapidly growing, industry-leading manufacturing company. The Finance Associate will have high visibility in the finance group and support strategy, corporate development, and risk management. The firm is looking for someone with thorough knowledge of financial concepts and strategic business acumen. This position interacts extensively with other functions and thus requires an ability to build and sustain relationships while ensuring business partners are successful in their contributions to cross-functional processes.
Responsibilities:
Finance

• Compile forecast and plan inputs including pricing and costing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate inputs, drive for consensus, and analyze variances.
• Complete month-end reporting and variance analysis.
• Improve finance processes and drive value across the organization.

Strategy & Risk & Business Development

• Evaluate inorganic business opportunities, develop business cases, and execute transactions.
• Compile quarterly BOD, strategy, risk, leadership, and ad hoc presentations.
• Monitor and synthesize macroeconomic trends, competitor/peer/customer earnings, and company risk.
• Perform complex analytics and modeling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related business field.
• 1-5 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, or Private Equity.
• Results-oriented self-starter and adaptable team-player.
