The Client Operations Director (COD) serves as the Project Management Office’s liaison with customers. A COD works directly with Account Management and Business Development to fully understand a customer’s needs and anticipate opportunities for future projects. A COD also takes a holistic view toward project/program/portfolio management, reviewing customers’ requests and separating them into actionable projects for completion. Additionally, CODs will advise customers’ executive and C level management on their account programs (a collective of all that customer’s projects) through consistent progress updates and strategy discussions.
The Client Operations Director will report to the Sr. Managaer of Stratascale Service Delivery. This position is required to report to the Charlotte, NC office location.

Responsibilities:Include but not limited to:
- Consolidate all projects associated with a customer account into account programs
- Serve as point of contact for assigned customer accounts, reporting on the status of account program
- Collaborate with Account Management and Business Development teams to communicate project strategy to customers
- Actively engage with the Sales and Pre-Sales teams in support of onboarding the customer to consuming services from company as well as pre-sales opportunities for services solution opportunities
- Review customer contracts and establish individual statements of work (SOW) to delegate projects
- Anticipate customer needs and communicate business opportunities to appropriate presales team
- Conduct account program status meetings, review account program action items and allocate priority
- Engage internal and external project teams to reinforce deadlines and escalate impediments for resolution
- Interacting with Senior and C level management from both internally and in customer organizations
- Participate in Project Management Office (PMO) team discussions, reviewing active projects and collaborating on strategy
- Allocate project teams to program tasks in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree IT or Computer Science preferred or equivalent experience
- 10+ years client-facing project management experience
Preferred
- Experience in IT delivery and operations
- Project Management experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to fully interpret contracts and statements of work
- Have a strong working knowledge of what internal organizations will be needed to support the contract
- Have strong project/account program management skills
- Working knowledge of IT concepts: security, servers, storage, cloud computing, and disaster recovery
- Understanding and application of problem resolution skills
- Proficiency in MS office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to refine processes toward specific end goals
- Have excellent interpersonal skills: responsive to the customer and able to get internal organizations to complete their tasks in a timely fashion
- Ability to communicate with senior and C level management
Preferred
- Holds PMP Certification or in progress
- Able to travel up to 25%
- The estimated annual pay range for this position is $156,000 - $210,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
