Purpose: The Stores Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, delivering, ordering, inventorying, and tracing storeroom items for the Float operations which operates in a continuous manufacturing environment.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate with vendors, Purchasing, and employees who require parts or accurate information for ordering parts or delivery.
- Pull parts from stock to fill maintenance work orders.
- Track incoming parts ordered by purchase order and VISA and local vendor form, and tie to maintenance work order.
- Communicate with maintenance supervision on status of parts needed for work orders, deliver parts to required locations upon request.
- Assist in reorganizing stores, consolidating parts and print new labels.
- Maintain office supply area, with supplies, track, and report usage.
- Report usage of vending machines (consumables)
- Analyze vending machine data and recommend changes to items stored in machines.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe organized stores.
- Maintain files of records per Financial, QS, and Environmental policies.
- Receive incoming parts and materials into the SAP system, Put parts in designated locations.
- Inventory stores parts (cycle count)
- Investigate the validity and if valid assist in the processing of non purchase order invoices for payment.
- Shipping of outbound freight, LTL, Federal Express and truck.
- Reconciling procurement match errors (PME’S)
- Ability to operate delivery truck and fork truck.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications Required:
- Proficiency with all programs in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Working Knowledge of maintenance and parts, mechanical and electrical.
- Powered Industrial truck License.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Must pass DOT hazmat training for shipping hazard materials.
- Minimum of an AAS degree or equivalent work experience.
Qualifications Desired:
- BA or BS degree
- Minimum of 2-5 years supervisory experience in a glassmaking facility.
