Store Manager

Pierce Flooring and Cabinet Design, a family-owned business based in Montana, is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Store Manager at our Billings location. With nearly a century of service, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our retail flooring store, including sales, administrative and warehouse operations, merchandising, and maintaining the physical appearance of the store. Strong leadership and management skills are essential for this role.

• Direct, promote, assist, and coach all selling associates daily to facilitate sales of flooring materials and cabinets where designated.
• Conduct daily one-on-one meetings with each salesperson.
• Approve all deviations from the pricing of merchandise.
• Monitor and manage sample checkout and returns.
• Conduct sales performance reviews with sales associates.
• Track and monitor quotes.
• Assist sales associates with closing sales when necessary.
• Establish minimum acceptable sales goals for each sales associate.
• Oversee account management and relationships.
• Oversee scheduling and staffing of all community trade show and home show events.
• Establish, direct, and monitor outside sales efforts, assist sales associates in establishing geographic weekly sales efforts.
• Conduct initial and ongoing training related to project management, including proper measuring, drawing of diagrams, layout, and installation details.
• Schedule and conduct weekly group sales meetings, which should include all sales associates and admin staff as necessary.
• Promote business by attending after-hour functions such as Home Builder Association & Chamber Business After Hour events.

• Prior Management experience.
