HL3 JOB TYPE – Permanent, Part-time, Hourly Associate, ON SITE!! 1 year of experience in a high-volume customer facing environment HOURS – From 34-40 hours per week SHIFT – Seeking work schedule availability of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday as a minimum requirement. The operations generally range between the window of 6am to 4pm and the work schedules are published three weeks in advance. There will be weekends required throughout the year to support Peak days but have only averaged out to be 5-10x per year. We are looking for someone with retail apparel visual merchandising or Interior Design experience. This role is 25% 3D Planning and 75% Hands-on implementation (painting, building furniture, installing furniture, physically decorating rooms)- Interior Designers create, develop, and install all rooms across the store. . They need to have independence with project planning, meeting deadlines, and creative thinking. We are looking for an artful Interior designer to undertake a variety of space designing projects. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with the stakeholders to managing and executing the design. The goal is to design practical spaces but yet visually pleasing. Responsibilities
- Undertake design project from concept to completion
- Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief”
- Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
- Set costs and project fees according to budget
- Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
- Produce “sample” and “mood products”
- Supervise work progress
- Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructors
- Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices Skills
- Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)
- Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, Revit , Illustrator
- Excellent portfolio of previous works
- Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
- Communication and presentation skills
- Project management skills
- BS degree in Interior Design or similar
- You have an education in Interior Design or architecture.
- Creative thinking supported by commercial visual competence and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Actively seeking improved methods of working in a simple, lean and cost-efficient way.
- A practical hands-on approach to your tasks.
