POSITION SUMMARY
Our company is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to assist in managing accounts. This could be a part-time or full-time, position, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, Sales Executive and Owner. The ideal candidate must be organized, reliable, trustworthy, high detail orientated, must possess strong communication skills. The position requires planning of workload to meet deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Involved in company meetings, market sector and rep meetings currently virtual or in-person
- We are a goal driven company and there are goals to achieve
- Utilize the software, QuickBooks, on a day-to day basis
- Assisting clients in selecting furniture, fabrics and finishes
- 2D/3D Visual Drawings including Color Rendering Layouts
- Creating digital presentation boards
- Managing multiple projects at various stages
- Processing quotations and orders for clients
- Verify cost of projects to ensure profitability
- Checking Acknowledgments of orders in a timely manner
- Manage furniture installations
- High Level of Customer Service
- Creative project involvement
- Some travel to customer appointments and shows
- Help Maintaining of Showroom
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree – in Interior Design Field or related field a “plus”
• Experience is a bonus but not necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, AutoCad, and QuickBooks
• Must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be organized, reliable, resourceful, and an independent thinker
