Oversees activities related to the material control, inventory control, shipping, receiving. Kitting, and stockroom functions. Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems. Develop and coordinates efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the stockroom.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervisory experience: Provides direct supervision to skilled materials handling employees and acts as a mentor in their development. The Stockroom Supervisor will also be actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems;
- Responsible for fostering a productive teamwork environment;
- Responsibility for providing excellent internal and external customer service;
- Responsible for receiving, kitting, cycle counting, year-end physical inventory, and anti-ESD compliance;
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining processes to ensure the efficient operation of the stockroom;
- Evaluates and measures performance of direct reports and ensures their goals are aligned with corporate and departmental objectives;
- Interface with all levels of personnel to achieve desired results;

Compensation: $75,000-85,000 annual base salary, depending on experience
Computer Skills and/or Tools: MS Office, ERP Software, Omnify
Qualifications/Competencies:
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to interact with all levels of Comtech personnel;
- Knowledge of MRP functionality including but not limited to: action messages, netting functionality, pegging, dependent demand;
- Knowledge of ECO (engineering change order) implementation;
- Ability to follow through and meet commitments under tight deadlines;
- Self starter with the ability to take initiative;
- Ability to resolve problems;
- Open to learning and flexible to change as processes or technology requires;
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing;
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of stockroom related experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role
